Alderleaf Wilderness College is honored to be hosting Adriaan Louw, Senior Tracker from South Africa for a 3-day trailing workshop.

Adriaan has trained rangers, guides, and trackers, and is a certified tracking evaluator for CyberTracker International. He specializes in trailing dangerous game such as African lions and leopards, and has worked for ten years in formal conservation including five years at Kruger National Park.

The class will be held in the eastern Cascades where there will likely be opportunities to trail elk, deer, black bear, and cougar. The workshop will be a mix of formal instruction and coaching in trailing skills.
