Evening Presentation on Mountain Lions
with Mark Elbroch

Alderleaf welcomes wildlife researcher, tracker, and award-winning author, Mark Elbroch, for a slide show presentation on cougars and his latest doctoral research.

Join Mark for a visual and anecdotal presentation on his current research with mountain lions in the American West. Both educational and entertaining, Mark will share plenty of exciting stories, beautiful photographs, mountain lion sounds & video clips.

Directions to Alderleaf: From Monroe go south on Highway 203 approximately one mile. Turn left onto Ben Howard Road. Follow Ben Howard Road for approximately 6 miles. Turn right onto Cedar Ponds Road. Follow Cedar Ponds until it becomes gravel. Take a left onto the second driveway. Our classroom is located in the large green building at the end of the drive.




Mark Elbroch is the author of several books on natural history, wildlife tracking, and wilderness survival. He has contributed to research projects on bear, cougar, fisher, marten, lynx, wolf, and many small mammals. Mark was awarded a Senior Tracker Certificate by CyberTracker Conservation and conducts tracker evaluations in North America. Currently Mark is studying mountain lions with the University of California - Davis where he is working on his doctorate.
