Taught by Wilderness Medicine Training Center staff, this course covers the core concepts of medical care in a wilderness setting. The majority of time is spent in hands-on skills practice and simulations. This standard Wilderness First Aid certification is recognized by other wilderness medicine providers, insurance companies, guide licensing boards nationwide, and numerous organizations such as the American Camping Association and Boy Scouts of America.
